Our Community Stepped Forward.
60+ Voices of Hounslow was shaped by older residents determined to continue the
sessions that mattered to them. Today, we are an independent, community-led
organisation keeping people 60+ active, connected and heard — while building a
sustainable future for healthy ageing across the borough.
WHO WE ARE
We are a community organisation created by older residents, for older residents.
What began as council-funded sessions became something bigger when we refused to let our community close its doors.
Today, we are evolving carefully and collectively — with a formal governance committee — to ensure that everyone aged 60+ in Hounslow continues to have access to welcoming, inclusive, and meaningful spaces.
WHAT WE DO
Through structured weekly activities, we create safe and inclusive spaces where older residents can move, connect, and contribute.

Every session is adapted to meet different mobility levels and abilities, so everyone feels included and valued.
WHY IT MATTERS
Later life should not mean isolation.
Many of us experience reduced mobility, shrinking social circles, and fewer opportunities to be heard.
We believe we should remain visible, valued, and actively involved in shaping our communities.
We stepped forward not just to keep sessions going, but to protect something that matters — and to grow it for the future.
PARTNERSHIP AND IMPACT
We work with local health services and community organisations to reach residents across Hounslow.
Our collaborations ensure that people living in care homes, sheltered housing, and community settings can access activities that support wellbeing and independence.
